Whom We Read About When We Read Haruki Murakami (Japanese edition)” written by David Karashima is a nonfiction story depicting how the team of translators, editors, agents, and designers successfully brought Murakami’s novels to the US and UK in 1980/90s.

It is a good read for those who are interested in intercultural communication/marketing over the language barrier. The English edition may be ready before long, as the author mentioned that he would write English edition soon.
